Clashes were reported in Delhi's Maujpur area where a pro-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) rally was going on.

Maujpur lies near Jaffrabad area where an anti-CAA protest is also going on simultaneously.

Extra force has deployed called at Jaffrabad and its adjoining areas. DCPs of other areas including that of east district have also been called. More troops of paramilitary force have also been called.

According to reports, a clash between pro and anti-CAA protesters led to stone-pelting.

Police was outnumbered by the crowd due to which the situation escalated out of control.

Several protesters have been injured due to stone-pelting, according to reports.

Chants of 'jai shri ram' were also heard from the site of the incident.
